I’ve completed the base for the floating ai (FAI) and further reimplemented ‘The Neck’ and the ‘House Fly’ to work under it.
Given the progress with these, I’ve gone back to my previous goal of working towards making a basic gameplay loop. An aspect of that was to give the player a way to board a ship and enter its dungeon. To do that I created a portal system that can be placed on the ship's docking bay and seamlessly transport the player to the dungeon.
What do you plan to work on next?
Working further on the core gameplay loop, establishing a basic boarding system onto the ship and spawning of monsters in the dungeon.
